WHAT I DO: Candace Werth is the managing attorney and owner of Werth Law LLC. She has over 25 years experience practicing law. Candace was a prosecuting attorney for 24 years in Jefferson, Adams and Broomfield Counties. She has tried over 200 felony jury trials and helped countless victims and families find justice. She worked to protect seniors as the lead prosecutor in the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Elder Abuse Unit from 2012-2016, where she discovered her passion for helping seniors, their caregivers, fiduciaries and families.
In 2016, Candace made the transition from prosecution to private practice when she opened Werth Law LLC. Candace now focuses on helping others with their Elder Law, Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Probate needs. Her goal is keep her practice small, so she can provide personal, high-quality service to her clients. She strives to be accessible and affordable to her clients. Candace remains closely associated with those that work in law enforcement. She works to be of service to those that have committed their career to protecting others.
Throughout her practice Candace has noticed that so many people need help, but they don’t know where to turn or who to call. Others put off having a will prepared and preparing documents to care for their family should something happen to them. They realize that they need to do it, but they don’t know where to turn or whom to trust. These are the reasons why Candace made the transition into private practice. She is here to help.
My Philosophy:
For 24 years Candace worked as a criminal prosecutor. She tried over 200 jury trials and prosecuted 24 homicide cases. She was assigned to the Elder Abuse Unit from 2012 – 2016. She has lectured locally and nationally on many subjects including elder abuse and complex case litigation. In April of 2016 she left prosecution to open Werth Law LLC to focus on helping others with wills, trusts, estate planning, estate administration and their probate needs. Throughout her practice Candace has noticed that people know they need to have a will and directions for their family should something happen to them, but so many people don’t know where to turn, how much it will cost, or who to trust. They put off taking the steps necessary to make sure their affairs are in order. Others may get put into situations in which they become the caregiver for a parent or relative in need and they need guidance and advice. Whatever reason brings you here, Candace Werth and Werth Law LLC are here to help.
