Teaching Experience:
Candace has been a recognized and sought-after speaker since 2002. She has been on the faculty of the National District Attorneys Association and lectured at local and national conferences. Through her work to educate and prevent Elder Abuse, she has trained financial crime investigators, peace officers, multiple community groups, financial institutions and residential facilities to recognize and stop elder physical and financial abuse and to understand the obligations created with the mandatory reporting of elder abuse law in Colorado.
Candace has presented on Understanding and Proving Elder Abuse, Mandatory Reporting of Elder Abuse, Elder Financial Abuse, Courtroom Technology, Using Technology in Trial, PowerPoint for Trial Attorneys, Cross Examination, Ethics, Complex Case Prosecution, Using Criminals as Witnesses, Grants of Immunity, Working with Informants, Search Warrants and Prosecuting Methamphetamine Labs. Classes for law enforcement include Working with the Prosecution, Major Case Investigation, Courtroom Testimony and Report Writing.
